With the victory, Clairemont improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Kearny (San Diego, CA) to confront the Komets in a Central challenge on Friday, January 27. The Komets come into the challenge with a record of 4-14.

Next up, the Lancers confront the Madison Warhawks (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Hilltop will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record.
