The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA) basketball knocked off the host Ogden Bulldogs (Ogden, IA), 42-27 in Monday's league test.
The Crusaders (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Exira-EHK notched a victory over West Harrison (Mondamin, IA), 72-25, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Saydel for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Ogden will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-32 league loss to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
