The Solon Comets basketball team (Solon, OH), was nudged 64-62 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Copley Indians (Copley, OH)

The Indians now possess a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a Suburban - American battle on Wednesday, January 25. Copley will confront a Rough Riders team coming off a 45-21 league win over Barberton (Barberton, OH). The Rough Riders record now stands at 9-9.

The Comets (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mentor (Mentor, OH). The Cardinals go into the Greater Cleveland outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Mentor got by Euclid (Euclid, OH), 62-29, in a league outing.
