Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA), 58-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hanover upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to Varina (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Capital bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Varina lost 42-41 in their recent league bout against Armstrong (Richmond, VA)

Next up, the Generals clash with the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a Central bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Dinwiddie will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Colonials go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 62-53 non-league win over Southampton (Courtland, VA).
