Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) and the visiting Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH), saw Dixie's basketball squad hold off Northridge by a count of 65-61.

With the victory, Dixie upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Bradford (Bradford, OH) to play the Railroaders in a Western Ohio challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a record of 0-12.

Next up, the Polar Bears play the Milton-Union Bulldogs (West Milton, OH) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 60-32 non-league win over Dayton Christian (Miamisburg, OH).
