Minnesota High School Basketball - Esko can't hold off Mesabi East

The Mesabi East Giants basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Esko Eskomos to 51 in the Giants league victory on Monday.
The Giants now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cook County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Mesabi East will battle a Vikings team coming off a 58-43 non-league loss to Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 2-8.
The Eskomos (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Barnum (Barnum, MN). The Bombers come into the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Barnum edged Deer River (Deer River, MN), 56-43, in a non-league contest.
