Illinois High School Basketball - Farmington knocked off by Macomb

The Macomb Bombers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Farmington Farmers to 46 in the Bombers league triumph on Monday.
The Bombers now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peoria Heights for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Macomb will battle a Patriots team coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 11-12.
The Farmers (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL). The Wildcats enter the Prairieland contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Cuba/Spoon River Valley was defeated by Elmwood (Elmwood, IL), 49-32, in a league contest.
