Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Richardton-Taylor Raiders (Richardton, ND), 61-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season.

Next up, the Raiders clash with the McIntosh Tigers (McIntosh, SD) in a B Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Richardton-Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 65-38 non-league loss to Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
