Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) and the visiting Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), saw Grayson County's basketball squad overcome Larue County by a tally of 55-35.

With the victory, Grayson County improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a District 12 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Edmonson County won 50-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Clinton County (Albany, KY)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY) in a District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Larue County will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 51-47 non-league loss to Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY).
