Delaware High School Basketball - Salisbury knocked off by Greenwood Mennonite

January 23, 2023: Greenwood, DE 19950

The Greenwood Mennonite Flames basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Salisbury Dragons to 37 in the Flames non-league triumph on Monday.

The Flames now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairwinds Christian for a Delaware Valley Christian contest on Friday, January 27. Greenwood Mennonite will meet a Knights team coming off a 53-9 league loss to Greenwood Mennonite (Greenwood, DE). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.

The Dragons (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge-South Dorchester (Cambridge, MD). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Cambridge-South Dorchester ran past Kent County (Worton, MD), 64-53, in a league contest.
