Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Haverling Rams (Bath, NY) and the host Letchworth Indians (Gainesville, NY), saw Haverling's basketball squad hold off Letchworth by a tally of 38-34.

With the victory, Haverling improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Hornell (Hornell, NY) to play the Red Raiders in a Section 5 Livingston County I challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Hornell won 78-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Wellsville (Wellsville, NY)

Next up, the Indians play the Perry Yellowjackets (Perry, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston County II challenge, on Friday, January 27. Letchworth will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
