Illinois High School Basketball - Lawrenceville overwhelmed by Richland County

The Richland County Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Lawrenceville Indians to 28 in the Tigers league victory on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vincennes Lincoln for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Richland County will battle a Alices team coming off a 53-39 non-league loss to North Knox (Bicknell, IN). The Alices record now stands at 11-10.

The Indians (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL). The Warriors come into the Little Illini contest with a 7-22 record. In their last contest, Casey-Westfield was routed by Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL), 45-19, in a league contest.
