The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Mother McAuley Mighty Macs to 46 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln-Way West for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28.
The Mighty Macs (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 17-9 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way Central ran past Andrew (Tinley Park, IL), 60-46, in a league contest.
