The Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL), 54-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL). The Cougars go into the 6A Area 12 test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Clay-Chalkville notched a victory over Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL), 63-25, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Carver Birmingham for a 5A Area 10 test on Friday, January 27. Ramsay will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 65-12 league loss to Jasper (Jasper, AL). The Rams record now stands at 3-12.
