Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper St. Clair thwarts Norwin

The Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), 56-45 in Monday's non-league test.
The Panthers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Indians go into the WPIAL 6A 2 test with a 8-5 record.
The Knights now own a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Allegheny for a WPIAL 6A 1 test on Thursday, January 26. Norwin will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-44 non-league win over McDowell (Erie, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
