Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts Cavaliers (Buffalo, NY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Buffalo Academy of Science Wolverines (Buffalo, NY), 46-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Global Concepts (Lackawanna, NY) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 5. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Tapestry Thunderhawks (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Buffalo Academy of Science will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Thunderhawks come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 54-42 non-league loss to Western New York Maritime Charter (Buffalo, NY).
