Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northtown Pumas (Chicago, IL), 51-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northside upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Muchin College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Muchin College Prep lost 32-31 in their recent league bout against Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Pumas play the Lake View Wildcats (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Northtown will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
