The Abramson Commodores basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Morris Jeff Pelicans to 25 in the Commodores non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Commodores now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host McDonogh 35 for a 4A District 11 contest on Thursday, January 25.
The Pelicans (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA). The Tigers come into the 3A District 9 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy was routed by Wright (New Orleans, LA), 60-38, in a non-league contest.
