The Academy of Holy Angels Stars basketball team (Richfield, MN), was toppled 78-62 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN)

The Cadets now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Two Rivers for a AAA Section 3 battle on Thursday, January 25. St. Thomas Academy will confront a Warriors team coming off a 89-48 non-league loss to Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 6-10.

The Stars (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Kennedy (Bloomington, MN). The Eagles come into the AAA Section 6 battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Kennedy was toppled by St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN), 74-37, in a non-league battle.
