South Dakota High School Basketball - Scotland overwhelmed by Alcester-Hudson

The Scotland Highlanders basketball team (Scotland, SD), was routed 62-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD)

The Cubs now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Viborg/Hurley for a B Region 4 battle on Friday, January 26. Alcester-Hudson will battle a Cougars team coming off a 68-39 league win over Centerville (Centerville, SD). The Cougars record now stands at 9-1.

The Highlanders (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Red Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Wagner trounced Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD), 59-52, in a league battle.
