The Andover Central Jaguars (Andover, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Maize Eagles (Maize, KS), 50-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Jaguars (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Valley Center (Valley Center, KS). The Hornets go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Valley Center was tipped by Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS), 71-40, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hutchinson for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Maize will encounter a Salthawks squad coming off a 64-51 non-league win over Derby (Derby, KS). The Salthawks record now stands at 9-2.
