Minnesota High School Basketball - Apollo can't hold off Bemidji

The Bemidji Lumberjacks basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Apollo Eagles to 65 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Rapids-Rice for a AAAA Section 8 contest on Saturday, January 27. Bemidji will battle a Storm team coming off a 87-62 non-league win over Rocori (Cold Spring, MN). The Storm record now stands at 11-4.

The Eagles (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN). The Sabres enter the AAAA Section 8 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Sartell-St. Stephen was nudged by Alexandria (Alexandria, MN), 91-51, in a non-league contest.
