The Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Au Gres-Sims Wolverines to 32 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mio-Au Sable for a North Star contest on Friday, January 26. Whittemore-Prescott will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 43-38 non-league loss to Posen (Posen, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 5-6.

The Wolverines (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Posen (Posen, MI). The Vikings come into the North Star contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Posen edged Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI), 43-38, in a non-league contest.
