The Carlinville Cavaliers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Lutheran Crusaders to 51 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Litchfield for a South Central contest on Thursday, January 25. Carlinville will meet a Purple Panthers team coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to Calvary (Springfield, IL). The Purple Panthers record now stands at 15-10.
The Crusaders (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary (Springfield, IL). The Saints enter the MSM contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Calvary nudged Litchfield (Litchfield, IL), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
