Coe-Brown Academy Bears (Northwood, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH), 72-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Coe-Brown Academy upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Laconia (Laconia, NH) to play the Sachems in a Division II bout on Friday, January 26. The Sachems come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Laconia lost 42-31 in their recent league bout against Hanover (Hanover, NH)

Next up, the Cougars play the Milford Spartans (Milford, NH) in a Division II bout, on Friday, January 26. ConVal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 69-51 league loss to Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH).
