The Spring Lake Park Panthers basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Coon Rapids Cardinals to 73 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk River for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Spring Lake Park will battle a Elks team coming off a 53-51 league loss to Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Elks record now stands at 3-11.
The Cardinals (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Andover (Andover, MN). The Huskies enter the AAAA Section 7 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Andover was defeated by Champlin Park (Champlin, MN), 94-73, in a non-league contest.
