The Rogue River Chieftains basketball team (Rogue River, OR), dropped 46-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR)
The Red Devils now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a 3A Far West battle on Friday, January 26. Coquille will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 75-37 league win over South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-8.
The Chieftains (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Douglas (Winston, OR). The Trojans come into the 3A Far West battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Douglas prevailed over Lakeview (Lakeview, OR), 74-40, in a league battle.
