In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC), by a count of 68-33.

The Colts (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC). The Sharks go into the NCCSA A West Region 2 outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Shining Light Baptist Academy was crushed by Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC), 56-42, in a league outing.

The Crusaders now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Level Baptist Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1.
