The Crossland Cavaliers basketball team (Temple Hills, MD), was overwhelmed 68-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD)
The Wolverines now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Thursday, January 25. Potomac will battle a Tigers team coming off a 74-49 league loss to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
The Cavaliers (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Douglass trounced Friendly (Fort Washington, MD), 71-40, in a league battle.
