Iowa High School Basketball - Waterloo East can't hold off Des Moines North

The Des Moines North Polar Bears basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Waterloo East Trojans to 74 in the Polar Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ottumwa for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Des Moines North will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 68-61 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
The Trojans (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA). The Dodgers enter the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Fort Dodge was nudged by Perry (Perry, IA), 69-65, in a non-league contest.
