The Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) basketball felled the visiting Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO), 40-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their test against South Platte (Big Springs, NE). The Blue Knights go into the D2 District 10 test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, South Platte was beaten by Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 39-31, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Perkins County for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25. Sedgwick County will encounter a Plainsmen squad coming off a 56-53 non-league win over Holyoke (Holyoke, CO). The Plainsmen record now stands at 12-5.
