The Taft Eagles basketball team (Chicago, IL), was overwhelmed 68-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL)
The Spartans now possess a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deerfield for a Central Suburban - South battle on Friday, January 26. Glenbrook North will confront a Warriors team coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 12-10.
The Eagles (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against North Lawndale (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix come into the Chicago Public - Red Northwest battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, North Lawndale was overwhelmed by Westinghouse (Chicago, IL), 72-64, in a league battle.
