Rice Lake Warriors (Rice Lake, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hayward Hurricanes (Hayward, WI), 70-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rice Lake upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to Menomonie (Menomonie, WI) to clash with the Mustangs in a Big Rivers bout on Thursday, January 25. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Menomonie won 66-43 in their recent non-league bout against Medford (Medford, WI)

Next up, the Hurricanes clash with the Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) in a Heart O'North bout, on Thursday, January 25. Hayward will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Oredockers go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 54-38 league loss to Cameron (Cameron, WI).
