Kenmare/Bowbells (Kenmare, ND) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND), 72-71 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kenmare/Bowbells upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The travel to Parshall/North Shore (Parshall, ND) to play the Braves in a B District 7 bout on Friday, January 26. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Parshall/North Shore lost 82-57 in their recent league bout against Trinity Christian (Williston, ND)

Next up, the Bison play the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (Linton, ND) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Hazen will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
