Healdton Bulldogs (Healdton, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Waurika Eagles (Waurika, OK), 57-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Healdton upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Velma-Alma (Velma, OK) to play the Comets in a Oilfield bout on Friday, January 26. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 14-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Walters Blue Devils (Walters, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Waurika will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 58-37 non-league win over Empire (Duncan, OK).
