Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO), 57-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Helias upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to West Plains (West Plains, MO) to play the Zizzers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Zizzers go into the bout with a record of 4-8. West Plains won 65-40 in their recent non-league bout against Branson (Branson, MO)

Next up, the Kewpies play the Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO) in a Central Missouri bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Hickman will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record.
