With the victory, Holy Cross improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Newport (Newport, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 18-3. Newport won 45-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Sayre (Lexington, KY)

Next up, the Lions play the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) in a District 63 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Lewis County will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 67-42 non-league loss to Blazer (Ashland, KY).
