The Poplar Bluff Mules basketball squad scored 80 points and restricted the host Kennett Indians to 50 in the Mules league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Poplar Bluff upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Mules host Central (Cape Girardeau, MO) to play the Tigers in a Southeast Missouri bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Central won 81-55 in their recent non-league bout against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO)

Next up, the Indians play the Malden Green Wave (Malden, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Kennett will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Green Wave come into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 94-57 non-league loss to New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO).
