In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) basketball squad edged the host Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA), by a margin of 76-75.

The Cavaliers (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Wildcats go into the WPIAL 5A 3 outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Greater Latrobe was tipped by Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA), 67-61, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Freeport for a WPIAL 4A 1 bout on Friday, January 26. Knoch will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 71-63 non-league win over East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-11.
