Minnesota High School Basketball - Zumbrota-Mazeppa can't hold off Lewiston-Altura

The Lewiston-Altura Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars to 57 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatfield for a AA Section 1 contest on Thursday, January 25. Lewiston-Altura will battle a Gophers team coming off a 77-48 non-league loss to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Gophers record now stands at 4-17.
The Cougars (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Goodhue was nudged by Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
