The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) basketball felled the visiting Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA), 69-56 in Tuesday's league test.
The Minutemen (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Waltham thwarted Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA), 73-42, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wilmington for a Middlesex test on Friday, January 26. Wakefield Memorial will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 77-45 league loss to Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-7.
