The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO), 63-30 in a league bout.

With the win, The Vanguard School upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Coursers host Rye (Rye, CO) to play the Thunderbolts in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout on Saturday, January 27. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Rye won 41-39 in their recent league bout against Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes (Denver, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Manitou Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
