The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) basketball crushed the host Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 59-34 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (14-6) will now prepare for their test against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Bluejays go into the Sangamo test with a 11-11 record. In their last test, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central was trounced by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL), 49-47, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsville for a Sangamo test on Friday, January 26. Olympia will encounter a Bullets squad coming off a 72-35 non-league win over Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Bullets record now stands at 15-5.
