In Tuesday's league outing, the Mintz Christian Academy Lions (Roseboro, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sandhills Classical Christian Lions (Southern Pines, NC), by a margin of 72-21.

The Lions (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Christ the Cornerstone Academy (Laurinburg, NC). The Defenders go into the Carolinas Christian outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Christ the Cornerstone Academy was trounced by Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 49-39, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Christian Academy for a Carolinas Christian outing on Monday, January 29. Sandhills Classical Christian will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 44-36 league win over Columbus Christian Academy (Whiteville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-11.
