The Red Mesa Redskins basketball team (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), was overwhelmed 71-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT)

The Cougars now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitehorse for a 1A Region 19 battle on Friday, January 26. Monument Valley will confront a Raiders team coming off a 78-58 league loss to Green River (Green River, UT). The Raiders record now stands at 7-8.

The Redskins (7-16) will now prepare for their battle against Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ). The Lynx come into the non-league battle with a 2-18 record. In their last battle, Fredonia was overwhelmed by Seligman (Seligman, AZ), 77-49, in a league battle.
