The Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 67-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cubs (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Burlington-Edison was trounced by Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 56-46, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Bellingham for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Friday, January 26. Mt. Baker will encounter a Bayhawks squad coming off a 65-59 league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks record now stands at 9-8.
