In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes basketball team scored a good 58-42 triumph over the Mt. Olive Wildcats.
In their next game, the Tornadoes meet the Hartsburg-Emden Stags (Hartsburg, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 26. Tri-City will attempt to better on its 1-19 season record. The Stags enter the match with a 6-16 record after their 56-55 league win over Midwest Central (Manito, IL).
With the defeat, Mt. Olive moves to 3-18 on the year. The Wildcats host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Staunton lost 59-49 in their recent league challenge against Vandalia (Vandalia, IL)
