The Shaler Area Titans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host North Allegheny Tigers to 38 in the Titans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Titans now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plum for a WPIAL 5A 2 contest on Friday, January 26. Shaler Area will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 63-62 league loss to Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-10.

The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Hurricanes come into the WPIAL 6A 1 contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, New Castle prevailed over Indiana (Indiana, PA), 66-29, in a non-league contest.
