With the victory, Ponchatoula improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 17-9. Albany won 42-41 in their recent league challenge against Sumner (Kentwood, LA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 6 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Northshore will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 64-59 league loss to Covington (Covington, LA).
