The Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) basketball knocked off the host South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), 49-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lumberjacks (11-13) will now prepare for their test against Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Tigers go into the 3A District 8 test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Donaldsonville notched a victory over St. James (St. James, LA), 64-56, in a league test.
The Tarpons now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they host Vandebilt Catholic for a 4A District 7 test on Tuesday, January 23.
